Composite Veneers vs E-max Veneers: What’s the Difference?
Two different materials, two different processes. Understanding how they differ makes the choice much clearer.

Composite Veneers and E-max Veneers can both be used to improve the appearance of selected teeth, but they are made from different materials and involve different treatment processes. Composite veneers use tooth-colored resin that is applied and shaped directly on the teeth. They can be useful for suitable cases involving small chips, gaps, uneven edges, or changes in tooth shape.
E-max veneers are indirect ceramic restorations made from lithium disilicate. The ceramic can provide high translucency and strength and may be selected when a patient requires a different level of aesthetic or restorative change.
The correct choice depends on the condition of the enamel, bite, desired result, amount of correction required, maintenance expectations, and other clinical factors. Dr. Sawsan Awartani assesses these considerations rather than recommending one material for every patient.
